What is Darkzone?

Darkzone is a purpose-built laser sports arena. Each player is given an electronic vest that registers "tags" from a players "phasor". Players are assigned to a team Red, Blue or Yellow and deployed into the arena after receiving a full briefing. The objective is to score as many points as possible. Generally it is a team game so the team with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner. However we can play a variety of game formats. Points are scored by "tagging" and de-activating the opposing team and for destroying the opposing teams base stations. At the end of each game the final scores are displayed on the scoreboard plus each player receives a printed score card that tells you the vital statistics for your game. This includes game score, accuracy, how many times you were tagged, and much more.
